A Measured Winter Afternoon at Chantilly Delivers Eight Clear-Cut Winners

Racing at Chantilly took place on Saturday, 10 January 2026, with an eight-race programme that combined conditional contests with competitive handicaps across middle-distance and staying trips. The Chantilly Race Results 10 January provided a clear picture of winter form, with established stables and riders featuring prominently across the afternoon.

The card opened at 11:19 with the PRIX DU BOIS DE PRECY over 1,900 metres. PINK PANTHERA recorded a decisive victory in the €25,600 conditional contest, travelling smoothly before asserting in the closing stages under Hugo Besnier. Trained by P. Cottier for owner Mr Jean-Pierre-Joseph Dubois, the winner finished ahead of Anashkaya, while Tsaverna took third.

The staying races began at 11:53 with the PRIX DE LA ROUTE DES FERMETTES over 2,700 metres. CHESS stayed on strongly to land the €16,500 race, providing Aurélien Lemaitre with his first success of the meeting. Trained by P & J. Brandt for Mme Pia Brandt, the winner finished in front of May It Be, with Cassius in third place.

At 12:28, the PRIX DE LA ROUTE DES MOINES, a claiming handicap over the same distance, was won by SEDSER. Ridden by Enzo Corallo and trained by Mme C. Bertin, Sedser showed stamina to hold off Octane, while Lempira completed the top three.

The programme returned to the mile at 13:03 for the PRIX DES TROIS CLAIRIERES. BOCCA AL LUPO emerged successful in the €24,700 conditional event, giving Aurélien Lemaitre his second win of the afternoon. Trained by G. Bietolini for Argella Racing and Gemini Stud, the winner finished ahead of Hello Jo, with Tornado Alley third.

A limited handicap followed at 13:40 in the PRIX MOLTON. APOLIDE delivered a controlled performance under Marvin Grandin to secure the €24,000 prize. Trained by M. Guarnieri for owner Mr Paolo Donzelli, Apolide finished in front of Darinice, while Ocean Star filled the minor placing.

The PRIX DE LA ROUTE DES PINS at 14:15 brought further success in conditional company as BASANTI claimed the €24,700 race over 1,600 metres. Partnered by Hugo Besnier and trained by A. Fabre for owner Mme Andre Fabre, the winner finished ahead of Mystery Day, with Tevere third.

Handicap contests closed the card. At 14:50, MODERN SPIRIT won the divided handicap PRIX DE LA FAISANDERIE D’APREMONT. Anthony Crastus guided the Julien Phelippon-trained runner to victory for owner Mr Guillaume Luyckx, finishing ahead of Syrus and Ambra Antica.

The final race at 15:32, the PRIX DE LA TABLE D’APREMONT, also a divided handicap over a mile, was taken by DUTY. Ioritz Mendizabal delivered a decisive ride for trainer M. Delzangles and owner Mr Robert Ng, with My Queen second and Clavis Aurea third.
