Midweek racing in France will continue at one of the country’s most established venues, with a busy afternoon scheduled at Chantilly on Wednesday. The Chantilly Race Cards for 21 January will outline a full nine-race programme , with racing scheduled to start at 11:42 and conclude at 16:33.

The card will be staged on the Chantilly turf and will feature a consistent pattern of middle-distance contests, with races largely centred around the 1,600m and 1,900m trips, offering opportunities for developing performers and established handicappers alike.

The meeting will open with the Prix de la Croix Vaillant over 1,900 metres for a purse of €24,700. ALAM will be set to line up alongside GUSTO, BLEU NUIT, TREAT ME NICE, and SPACER, with the field expected to provide an early test of stamina and positioning.

At 12:17, the Prix de la Haute Pommeraie will also be contested over 1,900 metres and will carry identical prize money. AUSPICIOUS, BIHOTZ BASC, REVE DE VIE, SHELZAWA, and HATANKA FAL will form the declared runners, with the contest likely to reward patience and late acceleration.

The programme will move to the 1,600 metres at 12:52 for the Prix du Chemin de Chantilly, a €17,300 event. FILLE DU ROI, MOONWALKER, WEEKEND WARRIOR, SAMAGACE DU VIVIEN, and RUBIS GOLD will be set to contest what should be a sharper test of speed and tactical awareness.

At 13:27, the Prix Jim and Tonic will return runners to the 1,900-metre distance, again offering €24,700 in prize money. CLAVUS, FERRARI FEVER, WAKABURN, ROCK BLANC, and WHY’S WHYOMING will be expected to shape a competitive middle-distance contest.

The Prix Solow at 14:12 will be the first sprint-oriented race of the afternoon, run over 1,400 metres for €24,700. BREIZH SKY, KESHAPOUR, QUASAR, NOSHOWLIKEAJOESHOW, and TOMAKAY will be set to test pace and balance over the shorter trip.

At 14:47, the Prix du Chemin de Compostelle will bring the focus back to the 1,600 race with €20,200 on offer. MARKSWOMAN, AMOUAGE, LES TROIS VALLEES, RAVEN’S SPIRIT, and SUN PROJECT will be scheduled to compete in a race likely to be run at a steady but selective tempo.

The feature later part of the afternoon will include the Prix du Chateau de la Tour at 15:22, a 1,600-metre contest worth €25,600. IKOTOFETSY, MY WAY, APOLIDE, SEEWAY, and EL VEGAS will form the line-up for one of the stronger races on the card.

At 15:57, the Prix du Chemin de Paris will again be run over the same, this time for €22,100. SON VIDA, BOLZANO, YOU’VE GOT SAIL, MAAVAH, and MOON RIDER will be expected to take their chance in another evenly matched field.

The meeting will conclude at 16:33 with the Prix du Chemin Royal, the richest race on the programme at €28,800 over 1,600 metres. LEOPARDUCCIO, GAILLARD, SPEEDSTER, ROI DE L’AIR, and RANCON ROYALE will be set to close the day with a competitive finale.
