Finishing a close second was the tote-favourite PERFECT LEGEND, piloted by top jockey Suraj Narredu and trained by Warren Singh. Despite high expectations, the horse was narrowly edged out, recording a time of 1:37:178 and starting at odds of 2.
The third spot was claimed by KIMIKO, partnered by jockey Bharat Singh and trained by Karthik Ganapathy. Showing great determination in the closing stages, KIMIKO stopped the clock at 1:37:192 with longshot odds of 18.
With tight margins and a thrilling finish, the Mystical Million lived up to its billing, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
