Neptune clinched victory in the closing race of Day 17 at the Bangalore Turf Club, the Hooves of Steel Million Div II, a 1400-meter contest for 3-year-old maidens. Ridden by A. Sandesh and trained by Karthik Ganapathy, Neptune clocked 1:26.46. Knotty Cruise and Renoir followed in second and third. With this win, Sandesh closed the card on a high. The action now moves to July 13 with three major races, including the Bangalore Summer Derby (Grade I).
