After an exciting conclusion to the fourth day of the Mysore Summer Races 2025, held on 18th June, all eyes now turn to the much-anticipated fifth day, scheduled for 25th June 2025. The action-packed afternoon promises competitive racing, with seven exciting contests lined up at the Mysore Race Club. The day begins at 2:00 PM with the first race, The Alberetto Plate (Division II), covering a distance of 1100 metres. This race offers total prize money of ₹3,75,000. Among the prominent contenders are Phoenix Gold, trained by Bipin V Salvi, who will be partnered by jockey Abhishek Mhatre. Queen Of Comebaks, trained by Rakesh, will have J Paswan in the saddle, while Country's Fire from the yard of Feroz M Khan will be ridden by M Prabhakaran. Other notable entries include Anushtubha trained by Rakesh with P P Dhebe, Nimble Spirit trained by Mansoor Khan with Faiz aboard, D Golden Cup from Vishal Yadav’s stable with jockey Vinod Shinde, Arigato trained by Helleal Moses R partnered by Shyam Kumar, The Artery trained by S Santosh Rao with P Sai Kumar, and Amron Tigress trained by Surender G T who will be partnered by P Vikram. Leading the field is Always For You trained by C D Monnappa with jockey Vinod Shinde. Mind Games from the stables of M Pratap Kamath will be partnered by Varun, while Misty Warrior trained by K S Mandanna will be ridden by C Umesh. Mysore Pharaoh, also from M Pratap Kamath’s yard, will be ridden by M S Deora. Adena trained by Feroz M Khan with L Alex Rozario, Arianne also trained by Feroz M Khan with M Prabhakaran, and Bold And Beautiful trained by Bipin V Salvi with Anil Baandal are strong contenders. Other runners include Bountiful Beauty trained by Rakesh with P P Dhebe, Cosette from Saddam Iqbal’s stable with A Ashhad Asbar, Natural Look trained by Mansoor Khan with Ankit Pal, and One Nation trained by M Pratap Kamath with S Antony Raj. The third race, The Alberetto Plate (Division I), begins at 3:00 PM, covering a sprint distance of 1100 metres with total prize money of ₹3,75,000. This contest features My Life My Rules trained by K Aditya with jockey Sham Kumar, alongside Alexander Maximus trained by Bipin V Salvi partnered by Abhishek Mhatre. Eco System from the yard of S Santosh Rao will be teamed with Ganesh Shingade, while The Lady Emporio trained by J Ganesh will be ridden by N Ramesh Kumar. Fire Bolt trained by M Pratap Kamath with Vinod Shinde, Beautiful Bloom trained by Bobby M with Madhu Sudhan S, and Feronia from Rakesh’s stable with Md Imran Ashraf are strong contenders. Other runners include Noble Pursuit trained by Vishal Yadav with R Shiva Kumar and Epsom Downs trained by Surender G T with Arvind Kumar N. Following that, The Kapila Plate is scheduled for 3:30 PM, run over a distance of 1600 metres with prize money of ₹4,50,000. Magic Circle, trained by Bipin V Salvi, will be partnered by K Sai Kiran, while Serdar trained by J S Pillay will be ridden by L Alex Rozario. Polar Wind trained by C D Monnappa with Faiz aboard, Natural One trained by Mansoor Khan with Aman, and Lucky Point trained by K Aditya with Dhanu Singh Deora are expected to put up strong performances. Other entries include David’s Delight trained by Helleal Moses R partnered by Shyam Kumar, D Don King from J Ganesh’s yard with P Sai Kumar, and Quick Witted trained by Mansoor Khan with jockey S G Prasad. At 4:00 PM, the prestigious S V Subramaniam Memorial Trophy takes place over a distance of 1200 metres with ₹7,00,000 in total prize money. Pneuma trained by Suraj Prasad Shaw will be partnered by Aleemuddin, with The Flying Feet trained by S Santosh Rao and N Ramesh Kumar in the saddle. Constant Variable trained by Fahad Khan with C Umesh, Deus Ex Machina trained by Ranjeet Shinde with Hasib Alam, and Pure For Sure from the yard of Vinesh V Naik with S Antony Raj are among the prominent challengers. The sixth race, The Ranibennur Plate, will be held over 1600 metres at 4:30 PM with prize money of ₹5,75,000. Grace, trained by K Aditya, will be partnered by H Rahul, while Square Cut trained by S Santosh Rao will be ridden by P Sai Kumar. Chat from the stable of Saddam Iqbal will have A Ashhad Asbar aboard, while Aurele trained by Feroz M Khan will be partnered by S Antony Raj. Ignorance Is Bliss trained by Ranjeet Shinde will be ridden by Hasib Alam, and Sir Calculus trained by J S Pillay will be partnered by L Alex Rozario. Other runners include Natural Warrior trained by Mansoor Khan with Ankit Pal, Natural Tornado also trained by Mansoor Khan with S G Prasad, Tignanello trained by Suraj Prasad Shaw with M S Deora, and Worldly Wise trained by J Ganesh partnered by Brijesh Kumar V. The curtain falls with the final race of the day, The Goa Plate, scheduled for 5:00 PM. This race, covering a distance of 1400 metres, offers total prize money of ₹4,50,000. Drisana, trained by J S Pillay, will be ridden by Anil Baandal, while The Golden Sunrise from the yard of S Santosh Rao will be partnered by P Sai Kumar. Little Minister trained by J Ganesh will be teamed with M S Deora, and Ocean from C D Monnappa’s yard will be ridden by S Antony Raj.
