The second race of the Bangalore Winter Meeting, The Kentucky Plate, brought excitement and flair to the Bangalore Turf Club on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Run over a sharp 1200 metres at 2:30 PM, this Maiden race for horses three years old only saw a commanding performance from Cashable, piloted confidently by Suraj Narredu and trained by Rajesh Narredu. Racing in the silks of Mr. Koushik Dutta, the winner displayed both pace and precision to claim the sprint in 1:12.64, finishing with style and authority.

Breaking smartly from the gates, Cashable tracked the early leaders before Suraj Narredu asked for an effort approaching the final furlong. The response was immediate — a burst of acceleration that left rivals struggling to match strides. Maintaining perfect rhythm through the final 100 metres, the Narredu-trained runner powered clear under hands-and-heels urging, sealing victory with polished ease and underlining his trainer’s strong early-season form.

Solara (J: Vivek G., T: S. S. Attaollahi) fought bravely to secure second place in 1:12.73 after pressing the winner through much of the straight, while Rocking Star (J: Aleemuddin, T: Pradeep Annaiah) kept on steadily to finish third in 1:13.25, rounding off a competitive finish among the sprinters.

With the energy of the crowd still buzzing after Cashable’s fluent win, attention now turns to the next contest — The Kudremukh Plate, scheduled for 3:00 PM. Stay tuned to RaceBuzz for continued coverage and live updates from the Bangalore Winter Meeting.
