The fifth race of the day, The Quincy Handicap, a Class IV contest for horses rated 21-46 over 1400 metres, unfolded in exciting fashion at the Calcutta Monsoon Meeting, Eighth Day, on Saturday, 20th September 2025 at 3:45 PM. Victorious Omen (J: Imran Chisty, T: S. Waheed) stormed home to claim a decisive victory in 1:27.824, carrying the colours of Mr Chirag V Shah, Mr Amit V Menda, Mr Ketan S Wakkar, Mr Rajiv Tinaikar, Mrs Minal Pitale, Mr Suresh Pitale, Mr Nihar Pitale rep Green Turf Racing LLP, Mr Amarjeet Singh Narula, Mr Anil V Poduval & Mr Kapil Bahl, delivering a performance that combined speed, composure, and timing.

From the break, Victorious Omen settled smoothly in mid-pack, conserving energy while tracking the pace setters. As the field approached the home turn, Imran Chisty produced a perfectly timed surge along the rail, overtaking the leaders with authority. The filly responded instantly, showing a sharp turn of foot and maintaining a strong gallop to cross the finish line well clear of the opposition.

Sporting Trainer (J: Arul J H, T: Vikash Jaiswal) ran a determined second, keeping close tabs on the winner throughout the final furlongs, while Tres Bien (J: R S Bhati, T: Javed Khan) finished a battling third. Both challengers were right in contention, ensuring a thrilling top-three showdown
