Cup — delivered a gripping spectacle over 1400 metres for Class I horses rated 81 and above (61–86 eligible). In what will go down as one of the standout Calcutta Races Result November 23 performances, King’s Retreat, owned by Mr Faiz Adam, surged to a powerful victory, stopping the clock at 1:25.932 under a polished ride from jockey Vishal N. Bunde, and trained to perfection by B. Rajender Reddy.

King’s Retreat travelled comfortably behind the leaders, poised for the right moment. King of Mafia (Jockey Suraj Narredu, Trainer B Mahesh) battled gamely but settled for third, clocking 1:26.875 after being outpaced in the final 200 metres.
