In the Calcutta race result November 6 spotlight, the fourth race of the Calcutta Races Autumn Meeting (Third Day) on Thursday, 6th November 2025, at the Kolkata Racecourse delivered a standout performance in The Cherry Handicap, a Class IV contest for horses rated 21–46 (1–26 eligible), run over 1600 metres at 2:45 PM. Togo, owned by Mr. Enrico R. Piperno, Mr. Prateek Bhalotia, Mr. Vivek Choudhary, Mr. Prashanth Sharma, Mr. Simarpreet Singh, and M/s Manjri Horse Breeders’ Farm Pvt. Ltd., stamped his authority on the field with an assertive run under jockey Arul J H, trained by N. Darashah, to register victory in 1:40.491.
Breaking sharply from the gates, Togo positioned himself prominently and dictated the pace from the outset. With confident judgement and tactical precision, jockey Arul J H kept the gelding travelling strongly throughout the backstretch, conserving just enough to repel any late challenges. Turning for home, Togo kicked away with purpose, stretching his lead and showing impressive resilience to maintain control through the final furlong — a performance brimming with confidence, composure, and competitive maturity.
Behind the commanding winner, Laamika (J: Imran Chisty, T: Rutherford Alford) produced a determined late attempt to narrow the margin, but ultimately settled for second in 1:41.339. Cortado (J: Antony Raj S., T: Aashay Doctor) followed a close third in 1:41.427, contributing to a competitive finish among the top trio.
