The fifth day of the Calcutta Races, Autumn Meeting, delivered thrilling moments, and the Calcutta race result november 16 saw Clever Hans (J: Varun, T: Vikash Jaiswal) shine in the 6th race, The Cambridge Handicap Div I. A Class IV contest over 1400 metres for horses rated 21-46 (rated 1-26 eligible), it took place on Sunday, 16th November 2025 at 03:30 PM. Owned by Mr Vikash Jaiswal, Clever Hans produced a masterful performance, crossing the finish line in 1:27.459 with poise, tactical acumen, and a burst of acceleration that thrilled the crowd.

Settling just off the pace from the start, Clever Hans bided his time, watching the early leaders while conserving energy for the decisive moment. As the field entered the final 400 metres, Varun expertly guided his mount through the inside rail, unleashing a decisive turn of foot that proved unstoppable. Clever Hans surged ahead in the closing strides, sealing a stylish and authoritative victory with room to spare.

The runner-up spot went to Noorie (J: P. Trevor, T: Deepesh Narredu), who stayed close to the winner throughout and finished just behind in 1:27.509, showing grit and determination in the final furlong. Dancing Queen (J: Arul J H, T: Vikash Jaiswal) finished strongly to claim third in 1:27.807, ensuring a competitive top three in a tightly contested race.
