The second race of the afternoon at Calcutta Racecourse on Saturday, 13th December 2025, saw Cosmology stamp his authority in Race No. 2, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Cup, a contest restricted to two-year-old horses over 1200 metres, run at 1:00 PM. As the Calcutta race result 13 December continued to shape the narrative of the Christmas Meeting’s second day, Cosmology delivered a polished performance for trainer P. Shroff, with A. Prakash in the saddle, stopping the clock at 1:13.508. The winner carried the colours of Mrs Auzita M Deboo & Mr Mehernosh H Deboo, showing maturity beyond his age.
Settled comfortably through the early stages, Cosmology travelled with purpose before being asked to quicken entering the straight. Once Prakash pressed the button, the response was immediate, the filly lengthening stride smoothly and asserting control over his rivals in the final furlong to score decisively.
Argento chased him home in second, finishing strongly under Suraj Narredu for trainer Aashay Doctor, recording a time of 1:14.606 after keeping the winner in sight. Further back, Echoes Of Eternity stayed on to claim third, with Vinay Jaiswal riding for trainer Ritesh E. K, clocking 1:23.693.
