Calcutta race result 10 september came alive in the third event of the Calcutta Races Monsoon Meeting, where the Exception Handicap (Class 61–86, with 41–66 eligible) over 2000 metres delivered a commanding performance from Main Street (J: P. Trevor, T: Arti Doctor). Run at 2:45 PM on Wednesday, 10th September 2025, the race saw Main Street, sporting the colours of Mr Kersi H Vachha, display superb timing and stamina to stop the clock at 2:10.070 and dominate this competitive handicap.

From the break, Main Street positioned himself prominently, allowing P. Trevor to assess the early tempo with precision. Trevor’s patient tactics kept the horse relaxed along the back stretch before launching a decisive challenge in the final 300 metres. The sustained acceleration proved too strong for the field, as Main Street drew clear for a convincing victory.

The runner-up spot went to Great Guns (J: Vivek G., T: Aashay Doctor), who maintained a strong presence throughout and finished in 2:10.365, just shy of the winner. Stormy Ocean (J: Imran Chisty, T: Rutherford Alford) produced a gritty effort to secure third place in 2:12.106, sealing a competitive top three.

All eyes now shift to the upcoming feature event—the Calcutta Colts Trial Stakes—scheduled for 3:15 PM, where promising colts and leading trainers are set for a thrilling showdown.
