Bundle of Charm Pentagon Handicap RCTC success gave connections something to cheer about in the third race of the day at the RCTC Monsoon Meeting 2025. The 1100-metre Class IV sprint, restricted to Indian jockeys and horses rated 21–46, featured a well-matched field of nine.

Bundle of Charm, ridden by jockey Vishal N Bunde and trained by Sabeel Shariff, timed his move to perfection and claimed victory with a swift 1:08.489 on the clock. The gelding’s finishing kick down the centre of the track proved decisive as he held off late threats from Sporting Trainer and Lavish Girl.

All three finishers showed tactical awareness in a cleanly run sprint that saw the pace pick up after the 600-metre mark.

Impressive Annie finished just outside the frame in fourth with a time of 1:09.042, while NRI Fantasy and Sea of Charm completed the top six. The turf remained even through the race, favouring runners who settled in mid-division before making their bids in the straight.

The win marks an important early strike for Sabeel Shariff, while jockey Vishal N Bunde will be pleased with the ride’s timing and execution.
