The third event on the card at Bangalore Turf Club’s Summer Meeting on Sunday, June 8, 2025, brought the crowd to life as Petaluma produced a clinical and confident performance in The Everynsky Plate (Div I). This 1200-meter sprint, exclusive to three-year-olds, carried a purse of ₹1,100,000 and unfolded as a closely fought contest among promising juveniles.

Trained by L. D’Silva and brilliantly ridden by Vivek G., Petaluma set the tone early and displayed a strong finishing kick to seal victory in a sharp time of 1:12.97. The filly’s pace and poise stood out in a field that offered stiff competition, establishing her as a rising star in the juvenile ranks.

Chasing closely and finishing second was Aatherv, handled by jockey Vivek and trained by Pradeep Annaiah, who clocked 1:13.92. Though Aatherv kept the pressure on the leader, Petaluma’s turn of foot in the final furlong made all the difference.

Rounding off the top three was Beauty Star, piloted by K. Sai Kiran and trained by Warren Singh, who crossed the wire in 1:13.99. Beauty Star maintained a solid position throughout and stayed on gamely to finish in the money.

With Petaluma’s convincing win behind us, all eyes now turn to the next contest—The Astounding Plate, a 1600-meter test of stamina and strategy. The action at Bangalore Turf Club continues to heat up as the race day unfolds.
