Mahler produced a commanding performance to land The Sir M. Visvesvaraya Memorial Cup, the fourth race of the Bangalore Summer Meeting Day 11 held at Bangalore Turf Club on Saturday, June 21st, 2025. The 1400-meter race, open to maiden three-year-olds, carried a lucrative purse of ₹11,00,000 and attracted a competitive field.

Ridden confidently by P. Trevor and trained by the in-form S.S. Attaollahi, Mahler stamped his authority in the final meters, drawing away from his rivals in impressive fashion by timing at 1:25.56. The winner represents Five Stars Shipping Co. Pvt Ltd, under the ownership of Mr. K. N. Dhunjibhoy, Mr. Z. K. Dhunjibhoy, and Ms. Anosha Meyers.

Putting in a bold effort but finishing second was Neptune, partnered by A. Sandesh for trainer Karthik Ganapathy. Despite looming as a major threat turning for home, he couldn’t match Mahler’s turn of foot as it timed at 1:25.62.

Schoenberg completed the top three under Hindu Singh, trained by Vijay Singh, rounding off a solid performance with a finish time of 1:25.74.

With Mahler’s strong win, it was yet another successful outing for the Trevor-Attaollahi partnership, who had already tasted success earlier in the card. As racing continues to unfold at BTC, attention now turns to the fifth race of the day — The D. Kumar Siddanna Memorial Trophy.
