The second event on the 12th day of the Bangalore Summer Meeting 2025 witnessed a promising performance by KISS OF GREY, who stormed to a decisive win in The Pronto Pronto Plate — a 1600-meter terms race for 3-year-old maidens, carrying a prize purse of ₹11,00,000.
Trained by Satish Narredu and ridden confidently by Yash Narredu, the filly settled well into stride before launching a late surge to grab the lead in the final meters. Stopping the clock at 1:39.79, Kiss Of Grey showcased both speed and stamina in equal measure, delighting her connections — M/s. Rapar Galloping Stars LLP, Mr. B. P. Devaraja, Mr. Teja Gollapudi, and Dr. Prabhakar Chowdary Tripuraneni.
In close pursuit was CIGAR GALAXY, trained by Irfan Ghatala and partnered by L. Alex Rozario, who kept pace gamely but had to settle for second, with a timing of 1:39.98. It was a strong debut effort, suggesting a bright future for the gelding.
