LONG GONE showed plenty of determination to claim victory, with LIGHTKEEPER chasing closely and DECIMATION holding third, earning cheers from connections and spectators alike.

Next up was the Connolly’s RED MILLS Irish EBF Auction Maiden Hurdle, run at 17:25 over the same distance of 2 miles 4 furlongs and 110 yards, for a purse of €20,000. JACKSON LAMB justified favouritism with authority, storming home ahead of THE MAN’S ROOM, while JURY BELLE ran on gamely to secure third place, leaving the crowd applauding a commanding performance.

The Handicap Hurdle, run at 17:55 over 2 miles 4 furlongs and 110 yards with €10,000 in prize money, proved one of the most competitive races of the day. KNOCKRAHA EAGLE emerged strongest in a field of 14, edging past DUNANY POINT, while MICKEY COHEN finished third after a bold effort, keeping fans glued to the rails.

The day concluded with the Flat Race, run at 19:55 over 2 miles 1 furlong and 40 yards, also for €10,000. Amateur riders had their moment of glory as IS SHE REAL lived up to her name with an emphatic win, followed by FASCINATING QUEEN in second and MALIKANNA taking third, bringing the curtain down on a memorable day.
