Bangalore Turf Club Hosts First-Ever 1300m Race on Thrilling June 1 Card

With much anticipation, the sixth day of the Bangalore Summer Meeting 2025 is set to unfold on June 1st at the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd. Among the highlights, a historical moment will be witnessed as a 1300-meter race will be run for the first time in Bangalore racing history. This unique event adds prestige and excitement to an already thrilling race day.

Racing action begins at 2:00 PM and continues until 5:00 PM with a seven-race card promising drama, speed, and surprises. The day’s main event will be The Benaka Developers Karnataka Juvenile Million (Gr.3), the fifth race on the card, scheduled for 4:00 PM. This feature race comes with a whopping total prize purse of ₹23,40,000, out of which the winner will claim ₹14,04,000. The race also brings a sense of anticipation as fans wait to see if any contender can break the 2024 record of 01:23.002 set by ONCE YOU GO BLACK.

The day starts with The Prince Khartoum Plate, a 1200-meter race for horses rated 20 to 45, aged 5 years and above. The total prize for this race is ₹5,10,000.
