The curtain came down on day 20 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting 2025 with The Aboline Plate, a 1200-meter handicap for horses aged 6 years and above, rated 20 to 45. This final event of the sunday card carried a prize purse of ₹5,10,000.
It was Super Kind who rose to the occasion, delivering a fluent victory under P. Trevor for trainer Pradeep Annaiah. Clocking 1:19.29, the gelding showed superior speed and race temperament to take command when it mattered most. The winner is owned by Mr. Praveen Kumar N, who ends the day on a winning note.
Stablemate Agera, also trained by Pradeep Annaiah and ridden by Vivek G., gave a game chase to secure second place, finishing in 1:19.34.
Rounding out the top three was Infinite Spirit, partnered by Vinod Shinde for trainer V. Lokanath, who stopped the clock at 1:21.07 after a steady performance.
With The Aboline Plate drawing the curtain on day 20 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting, racing enthusiasts can now look forward to the start of the Hyderabad Monsoon Races 2025 as the new season gets underway on July 21st at the Hyderabad Race Club. Meanwhile, racing action at Bangalore Turf Club will return on July 26th, 2025.
