N R I Victory emerged victorious in the third race of the day, capturing the Delhi Cup in style on Day 17 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting. The 1600-meter handicap, open to horses rated 20 to 45, was run at 2:30 PM and carried a prize purse of Rs. 5,10,000.
Trained by Md Sajid Qu’shi and guided by Antony Raj S., N R I Victory produced a well-timed finish to take the win, clocking 1:40.28. The effort rewarded the owner Ravinder Reddy Male with a solid result as the racing action continued at the Bangalore Turf Club.
Finishing just behind was Luca, ridden by Ritesh Gochhi and trained by James Mckeown, who put in a steady challenge to finish second in 1:40.56. Mahler secured the third spot, piloted by P. Trevor under the care of S.S. Attaollahi, stopping the clock at 1:40.90.
