Bangalore Races: Double Vision scores decisively in the Honey Day Plate, a whip-less event

Double Vision powers ahead to win the Honey Day Plate at Bangalore Turf Club, with jockey Vivek G guiding the runner to victory over 1400 metres.

Double Vision delivered a polished performance to capture the Honey Day Plate, the third race of the afternoon at the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC). The race was a 1400-metre handicap for horses rated 20 to 45, run as a whip-less event and carrying a winners’ purse of Rs. 5,10,000.

Trained by S. Shoban Babu and ridden by Vivek G, Double Vision showed poise and determination, taking control at the right moment to register a well-judged victory in 1:29.15. The winner is owned by Mr. A. Muniraja, and the effort reflected steady progress through the ranks.

Second place went to Able One, representing trainer Azhar Ali and ridden by Salman Khan, who stayed within striking distance throughout and crossed the line in 1:29.67.

Super Kind, guided by Abhishek Mhatre, completed the top three in 1:29.81 for trainer Pradeep Annaiah.
