The result added another key note to the ongoing Bangalore race result 7th June storyline, with REGAL BEAUTY delivering a confident maiden success for owners Mr Chaduranga Kanthraj Urs, Mr Aditya P Thackersey & Manjri Horse Breeders’ Farm Pvt Ltd.
Racing with poise under A. Sandesh, REGAL BEAUTY was settled just off the pace before producing a sharp and well-timed challenge in the straight. The Darius R. Byramji-trained filly showed maturity beyond her experience, quickening smartly when asked and asserting in the final strides to seal the contest with authority. The 1200-metre trip was negotiated with tactical precision as she held her rhythm under pressure and responded strongly when the gap opened.
The runner-up spot went to SENSUOUS (J: Suraj Narredu, T: Aravind G.) who finished strongly in 1:13.85 after tracking the leaders throughout and mounting a late bid. LEGACY FIELD (J: Akshay Kumar, T: Prasanna Kumar) completed the frame in 1:13.95, staying on steadily but unable to match the final acceleration of the first two in a tightly contested finish.
