The win also added another highlight to the ongoing Bangalore race result 6th June card, as connections celebrated a well-judged ride and a confident finish. The winner is owned by Mr Udaya Shankar P.
Run at 03:30 PM, the 1400-metre affair for horses rated 00 to 25 unfolded with steady early fractions before shaping into a competitive sprint in the straight. Versace, positioned smartly throughout, showed admirable acceleration when it mattered most, asserting control in the closing stages to seal the verdict with authority.
The race developed with a measured tempo early on, as runners settled into stride before the field began to compact approaching the bend. Versace, under jockey Laxman Singh, travelled efficiently within striking range and was produced at the right moment in the straight, responding strongly to seize the initiative and pull away from challengers inside the final furlong.
LEGENDARY IMPACT (Aditya Waydande, trainer V. Lokanath) put in a determined effort to secure second place, stopping the clock at 1:30.37 after staying in contention throughout the final stages. STELLA MARIS (Pavan, trainer Irfan Ghatala) completed the frame in 1:30.38, narrowly behind in a tightly contested finish that saw minimal separation for the minor placings.
