At the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC), the 2nd Race – The Rare Gem Plate Div II brought an engaging finish to the afternoon on Saturday, 6th June 2026, over 1200 metres in a Class IV contest for horses rated 20 to 45. The Bangalore race result 6th June once again underlined the competitive depth of the summer meeting, with Hushed producing a well-timed effort to clinch victory for owner Mr Dinesh Kumar K.
Racing in a strongly contested sprint, Hushed (J: A. Ashhad Asbar, T: V. Lokanath) was positioned with patience before being asked to quicken in the final stages. Responding efficiently under pressure, the colt/filly found a decisive turn of foot inside the last 200 metres to assert command and stop the clock at 1:15.38, sealing a composed and professionally judged win.
Behind the winner, the pace remained honest throughout, with early leaders setting up a solid tempo before the field bunched up turning for home. Hushed’s acceleration proved the difference as rivals struggled to match strides in the final surge.
Zayana (J: Pavan, T: Irfan Ghatala) ran with consistency to secure second place, finishing in 1:16.04, while Lightning Blitz (J: Suraj Narredu, T: S. Narredu) completed the frame in 1:16.18, staying on steadily after a prominent position throughout the race.
With another tight finish concluded at BTC, attention now shifts to the 3:30 PM feature – The Santorini Star Plate, which promises further intrigue on the day’s card.
