The Bangalore race result 6th June from the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC), opened on a competitive note as AVENER produced a polished performance to land The Ascot Plate.
The 1st Race of the day, The Ascot Plate, a Maiden contest for 3-year-old horses over 1400M, was held on Saturday, 6th June 2026 at 02:30 PM, where AVENER (J: A. Sandesh) delivered a composed and professional effort to score for owners Mr Geoffrey B Nagpal & Mrs Charonne Nagpal.
Settling into a smooth rhythm early, AVENER tracked the pace with intent, conserving energy before making a decisive move in the final stages. Once asked for an effort, the A. Sandesh-ridden colt quickened smartly to take command, displaying maturity beyond his maiden status to seal the opening race of the afternoon.
Behind the winner, EXOTIC BLACK (J: L. Alex Rozario, T: Irfan Ghatala) ran with consistency throughout but had to settle for second place, clocking 1:28.38 after staying in contention until the final furlong. BUREVESTNIK (J: Vivek G., T: S.S. Attaollahi) finished a close third, stopping the clock at 1:28.46, completing a tightly fought finish for the minors.
With the opening contest concluded, attention now shifts to the 2nd Race – The Rare Gem Plate DIV II, scheduled for 03:00 PM, as the Bangalore Summer Meeting continues to build momentum.
