Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) continued the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 20th day, Sunday, 5th July 2026, with the 6th race, The Southern Empire Plate, a Class IV race for horses rated 20 to 45 over 1400 metres, run at 5:00 PM. ABSOLUTE FORCE, ridden confidently by A. Sandesh, produced a determined performance to score for trainer Joseph B. Awale, stopping the clock in 1:25.91. Racing in the colours of Mr Raj Ramprasad Singh, the winner proved strongest in the closing stages to register an impressive success.
This Bangalore race result 5th July highlighted another competitive contest during the afternoon, with ABSOLUTE FORCE settling into a comfortable rhythm before producing a decisive challenge in the home straight. A. Sandesh timed his move to perfection, gradually building momentum before asking the gelding for his final effort. Responding willingly, ABSOLUTE FORCE quickened clear inside the final furlong and maintained his advantage to the winning post, rewarding connections with a polished victory.
MY SOLITAIRE finished second after a determined effort under Abhishek Mhatre for trainer S. Shoban Babu, stopping the clock at 1:26.15. SHAHENSHAAH, partnered by Faizan Khan and trained by Praveen Jesu, stayed on gamely to secure third place in 1:26.55, completing a competitive finish among the leading trio.
