The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) continued the Bangalore Summer Meeting on Saturday, 4th July 2026, with the 6th Race – The Skyline Plate Div I, a Class V contest for horses rated 00 to 25 over 1400 metres, run at 5:00 PM. In another Bangalore race result 4th July, VORFREUDE, ridden confidently by Ritesh Gochhi, delivered a composed performance to secure victory for trainer James Mckeown in 1:26.18. Racing in the colours of Mr Kersi H. Vachha, the winner finished with authority to register an impressive success.

Settled comfortably through the early stages, VORFREUDE travelled smoothly before being produced at the right moment in the straight. Ritesh Gochhi timed his challenge to perfection as the gelding responded gamely under pressure, quickening clear inside the closing stages to seal the contest with a decisive finishing effort. The James Mckeown-trained runner maintained a strong gallop all the way to the line to add another notable victory to the stable’s tally.
DIVO chased the winner home to finish second in 1:26.73, with V.R. Jagadeesh in the saddle for trainer S. Shoban Babu after staying on well in the closing stages. TURKOMAN, partnered by Arul J. H and trained by Praveen Jesu, completed the placings in 1:27.59, producing a respectable effort to claim third.
With another competitive contest concluded, attention now turns to the remaining races on the Bangalore Summer Meeting card as the day’s feature events continue to unfold.
