The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) hosted the third race of the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 10th day, on Sunday, 31 May 2026, with The World No-Tobacco Day Plate DIV II, a Class IV contest for horses rated 20 to 45 over 1300 metres, getting underway at 3:00 PM. NIGHT RAIDER, ridden confidently by Pavan and trained by Irfan Ghatala, delivered a polished performance to secure victory in 1:22.44 for owners Ms Arun Alagappan Racing LLP & Mr Chandrakanth Kankaria.
The latest Bangalore race result 31 May produced an engaging contest as NIGHT RAIDER travelled comfortably through the early stages before being produced at the right moment in the straight. Showing a strong turn of foot when asked for an effort, the winner gradually asserted control in the closing stages and held off the late challengers to record a well-deserved success.
STEELY CHALLENGE, partnered by K. Sai Kiran for trainer Darius R. Byramji, finished a commendable second after keeping the winner honest throughout the run home, clocking 1:22.87. VIBRANT QUEEN, ridden byL. Alex Rozario and trained by Pradeep Annaiah, stayed on gamely to secure third place in 1:23.01, ensuring a competitive finish among the leading trio.
With another exciting race added to the afternoon programme, attention now shifts to the The S. G. Madhukar Memorial Trophy, scheduled for 3:30 PM, where another competitive field will look to make its mark at Bangalore.
