Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) – Bangalore Turf Club Karnataka Juvenile Million provided one of the highlights of the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 10th day, on Sunday, 31 May 2026, as D’ARTAGNAN delivered an impressive performance to capture the 5th race of the afternoon.
The prestigious contest for three-year-old horses was run over 1400 metres at 4:00 PM, with the P. Shroff-trained colt storming home in 1:27.84 under Vivek G. Racing in the silks of Horse Haven Breeding and Racing Private Limited rep by Mr & Mrs Vijay B Shrike & Mr Jay V Shirke, Hyperion Bloodstock Pvt Ltd rep by Mr & Mrs Farouq Rattonsey, Mr Mehernosh H Deboo & Mrs Liane Milan Luthria & Mr Milan Luthria, and MS Darashaw Racing, the winner showcased both class and determination.
The Bangalore race result 31 May produced a performance of considerable promise as D’ARTAGNAN travelled comfortably through the early stages before quickening decisively when asked for his effort in the straight. Vivek G. positioned the colt perfectly throughout the journey, allowing him to settle into rhythm before unleashing a sustained finishing run. Once in front, D’ARTAGNAN maintained a strong gallop to keep his rivals at bay and secure a convincing success in this valuable juvenile feature.
The runner-up position went to SIEGE STORM, who chased home the winner in 1:28.96 under Akshay Kumar for trainer Prasanna Kumar. Despite staying on gamely in the closing stages, the colt was unable to bridge the gap to the eventual winner. BUCKINGHAM completed the placings in third, clocking 1:29.57 for jockey Antony Raj S. and trainer Karthik Ganapathy, producing a respectable effort against quality opposition.
With the Bangalore Turf Club Karnataka Juvenile Million now in the record books, attention turns to the The Aureole Time Plate DIV I, scheduled for 4:30 PM, where another competitive field is set to continue an exciting afternoon of racing at Bangalore.
