Racing at the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC), officially known as the Bangalore Turf Club Limited, continued with another competitive finish during the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 18th day, on Sunday, 28th June 2026. The 6th race, The Tudor Jet Plate, a Class IV contest for horses rated 20 to 45 over 1200 metres, was held at 04:30 PM, where RIVER DEEP delivered a polished performance to secure victory. Owned by Mr Md Minhaj Raza, RIVER DEEP, guided by jockey A. Ashhad Asbar and trained by V. Lokanath, clocked an impressive 1:12.98. The Bangalore race result 28th June highlighted another strong display of speed and racecraft at BTC.
RIVER DEEP settled into the race with a measured approach before making his move when the field entered the final stages. A. Ashhad Asbar timed the challenge perfectly, allowing the V. Lokanath-trained runner to build momentum and surge ahead in the closing strides. The winner showed a strong finishing kick to hold control and register a convincing success in The Tudor Jet Plate.
The runner-up position was secured by CARAT LOVE, who finished in 1:13.22 under jockey Akshay Kumar for trainer Vishesh M.P. NOBLE CAUSE completed the top three, crossing the line in 1:13.46 with S. Sachin in the saddle for trainer S. Dominic.
With the excitement from The Tudor Jet Plate settled, attention now moved towards the next contest on the card, The Desert God Plate, scheduled for 05:00 PM.
