The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) hosted the 18th day of the Bangalore Summer Meeting on Sunday, 28th June 2026, with the opening event, The Littleover Plate, a Maiden contest for 3-year-old horses over 1200 metres. In this exciting first race at 02:00 PM, PREVIEW delivered a confident performance under jockey Suraj Narredu, scoring victory for trainer James Mckeown and owner Sans Craintes Stud Farm Pvt Ltd. The latest Bangalore race result 28th June showcased a promising start to the day’s racing action.
PREVIEW showed excellent pace and composure throughout the contest, settling well before making a strong move in the closing stages. Suraj Narredu timed the final challenge perfectly as the James Mckeown-trained runner accelerated in the straight to secure the win. PREVIEW stopped the clock at 1:12.68, showing a professional attitude and strong finishing ability in the maiden field.
CALIX, ridden by Akshay Kumar and trained by S.S. Attaollahi, finished second with a commendable effort, recording a time of 1:13.01. SAI PRINCESS, guided by V.R. Jagadeesh and trained by S. Inayathulla, completed the top three after clocking 1:13.24 in a competitive finish.
With the opening race concluded, attention now turns towards The Mahalakshmi Plate, scheduled for 02:30 PM, as the Bangalore Summer Meeting continues with more exciting contests ahead.
