Racing in the colours of Mr B Vijeth Bhandari, the winner proved strongest in the closing stages to register an impressive victory.

Settled comfortably through the early part of the contest, YOUREMANORBORNE travelled with purpose before improving steadily as the field approached the final bend. A. Sandesh produced the gelding at the ideal moment, and the P. S. Chouhan-trained runner responded gamely, quickening clear under sustained riding to fend off the late challengers and secure a well-earned success over the 2000-metre journey.
WINFIELD finished a close second in 2:08.81, with Antony Raj S. in the saddle for trainer Arjun Mangalorkar, after mounting a determined late challenge. STORM SHADOW, ridden by Vivek G. and trained by Prasanna Kumar, stayed on well to finish third in 2:08.98, ensuring an exciting finish with the leading trio separated by only fractions of a second.
