The excitement continued at the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) on Sunday, 24 May 2026, as GLORIOUSNESS produced an impressive performance to capture the 8th race of the Bangalore Summer Meeting, The Pendragon Plate Div I, a Class IV contest for horses rated 20 to 45 run over 1200 metres at 05:30 PM. In another notable Bangalore race result 24May., GLORIOUSNESS (J: Suraj Narredu) delivered a strong finishing burst for trainer S. Narredu, clocking 1:13.49 to secure a stylish victory for owners Mr Raghu S, Mr S Narredu, Mr Anil Saraf and Ms Bramhastra Racing LLP.
Breaking smartly and settling into a comfortable rhythm through the early stages, GLORIOUSNESS travelled fluently behind the pace before Suraj Narredu asked for an effort approaching the final furlong. The response was immediate as the gelding accelerated decisively, asserting superiority inside the closing stages to take control of the sprint and maintain momentum all the way to the winning post. The victory highlighted both tactical patience and a sharp turn of foot from the Narredu-trained runner.
Runner-up honours went to JADE MOUNTAIN (J: P. Trevor, T: V. Lokanath), who kept up the chase throughout and finished gamely in 1:13.86. SCENT OF RAIN (J: A. Sandesh, T: S.S. Attaollahi) stayed on steadily to claim third place in 1:14.29, ensuring a competitive finish among the leading trio in the six-furlong contest.
