The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) witnessed another exciting finish on the 16th day of the Bangalore Summer Meeting, Sunday, 21st June 2026, as MAGESTIC PERSONA secured victory in The Bergamo Plate DIV II, a Class IV race for horses rated 20 to 45 over 1100 metres. The second race of the day, held at 02:00 PM, saw MAGESTIC PERSONA (J: Vishal) deliver a confident performance for trainer V. Lokanath and owners Mr R M Ramaswamy & Mr M Venkatarama, clocking an impressive time of 1:06.61. The latest Bangalore race result 21th June update reflected a well-judged effort from the winning combination.
MAGESTIC PERSONA settled into the race smoothly and travelled strongly through the early stages before making a decisive move in the closing stages. Vishal guided the runner with patience and timing, allowing the horse to build momentum before taking control in the final furlong. The winner showed good pace and determination to pull clear and secure a convincing success.
APHELION (J: A. Sandesh, T: Darius R. Byramji) finished second after staying in contention throughout the race, completing the course in 1:07.98. SUPER KIND (J: Salman Khan, T: Pradeep Annaiah) produced a respectable effort to claim third place, stopping the clock at 1:08.48.
With the result concluded, attention now moves towards the upcoming International Day of Yoga Plate scheduled for 02:30 PM, promising another engaging contest from the Bangalore Summer Meeting.
