Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) witnessed another exciting finish during the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 16th day, Sunday, 21st June 2026, as D’Artagnan captured the 6th race, The Zavaray S. Poonawalla Colts Championship Stakes, a 3-year-old Indian race over 1600 metres. The talented contender, ridden by Vivek G. and trained by P. Shroff, clocked 1:36.37 to secure a notable victory for Horse Haven Breeding and Racing Private Limited rep by Mr & Mrs Vijay B Shirke & Mr Jay V Shirke, Hyperion Bloodstock Pvt Ltd rep by Mr & Mrs Farouq K Rattonsey, Mr Sameer F Rattonsey and Mr Zaheer F Rattonsey, Mr Mehernosh H Deboo & Mrs Liane. The latest Bangalore race result 21th June reflected another strong performance from the leading contenders at the Bangalore Summer Meeting.
The race unfolded with a competitive field settling into their positions before the final stages tested the stamina and finishing ability of the runners. D’Artagnan travelled smoothly through the contest and produced a strong finishing effort in the closing stages, edging ahead to claim the championship event with a well-timed run under Vivek G.
Stud Poker, guided by Antony Raj S. and trained by Prasanna Kumar, finished a close second with a time of 1:36.56 after staying in contention throughout the race. Knotty Emperor, also trained by Prasanna Kumar and ridden by Suraj Narredu, secured third place in 1:37.22 after a determined effort in the final stretch.
With the excitement of The Zavaray S. Poonawalla Colts Championship Stakes concluded, attention now moves towards the upcoming THE BERGAMO PLATE DIV I, scheduled for 04:30 PM, as the Bangalore Summer Meeting continues with more action-packed races.
