The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) hosted the 3rd race of the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 15th day, on Saturday, 20th June 2026, where STELLA MARIS (J: Pavan) produced a strong performance to win The Paddiwick Plate, a Class V contest for horses rated 00 to 25 over 1600 metres. Run at 03:00 PM, STELLA MARIS completed the race in 1:40.08, securing a confident victory for trainer Irfan Ghatala and owners M/s Rapar Galloping Stars LLP. This latest update adds another chapter to the Bangalore race result 20th June as the afternoon’s competition continued at the BTC racecourse.

The race unfolded at a steady pace with runners settling into their positions before the field began to stretch out approaching the final stages. STELLA MARIS showed excellent control throughout the contest and responded well when asked for an effort, pulling away in the closing furlong to secure the win. The combination of Pavan’s timely ride and Irfan Ghatala’s preparation helped the mare finish strongly ahead of her rivals.
HONEYPOT (J: Rajesh Kumar M, T: V Narayana Gowda) put up a determined challenge and finished second, stopping the clock at 1:40.39. SEA DIAMOND (J: Md Ashraf Reza, T: Umar Shariff. S) completed the top three finishers with a time of 1:40.52 after staying in contention until the final stages.
With The Paddiwick Plate concluded, attention now moves towards The D. Kumar Siddanna Memorial Cup scheduled for 03:30 PM, another important contest on the Bangalore Summer Meeting card.
