The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) staged another competitive afternoon during the 24th day of the Bangalore Summer Meeting on Sunday, 19th July 2026, with the second, third and fourth races producing three impressive winners across Class V and maiden company. The Bangalore race result 19th July card gathered momentum as HONEYPOT, SLING SHOT and EMINENT GOLD each produced polished performances to add their names to the winners’ list.
The afternoon resumed with the 2nd race, The Bold Gesture Plate Div I, a Class V contest for horses rated 00 to 25 over 1200 metres, run at 1:30 PM. HONEYPOT, owned by Mr Reethan B K, gave jockey Rajesh Kumar M and trainer V. Narayana Gowda a memorable success after travelling comfortably before finishing strongly to stop the clock in 1:15.07.
Settled in a handy position through the early stages, HONEYPOT was produced with a well-timed challenge entering the final furlong. Rajesh Kumar M kept the gelding balanced before asking for maximum effort, and the response was immediate as the winner pulled clear to secure a convincing victory.
JAILER, ridden by Asirvatham for trainer G. Sandhu, stayed on gamely to finish second in 1:16.20, while KHAZANA, partnered by Aleemuddin for trainer Arjun Mangalorkar, completed the placings in 1:16.60 after keeping on steadily in the closing stages.
With the first division concluded, attention shifted to The Amazing Grace Plate Div II, scheduled over 1400 metres at 2:00 PM.
The 3rd race, The Amazing Grace Plate Div II, another Class V event for horses rated 00 to 25, was contested over 1400 metres at 2:00 PM. Racing in the colours of Mr H. R. Pai, SLING SHOT produced a measured performance under Vivek G. to hand trainer Praveen Jesu victory in 1:30.58.
The Bangalore race result 19th July continued to showcase competitive racing as SLING SHOT settled into an ideal rhythm before gradually improving around the bend. Vivek G. waited patiently before asking for the decisive effort in the straight, and the gelding responded willingly to overhaul the leaders and score with authority.
EMBOSOM, ridden by R. Vaibhav for trainer V. Lokanath, kept the winner honest throughout and claimed second in 1:31.14. Stablemate INFINITE SPIRIT, partnered by Pavan, stayed on consistently to finish third in 1:31.71, giving trainer V. Lokanath two horses in the placings.
Following another closely fought contest, the focus moved to The Mamma’s Mink Plate, the maiden event for three-year-olds scheduled at 2:30 PM.
The 4th race, The Mamma’s Mink Plate, a 1200-metre Maiden event for three-year-old horses, went off at 2:30 PM. EMINENT GOLD, owned by Mr Mukul A. Sonawala, The Estate of Late R. R. Byramji & Mr Chetan Shantilal Shah, justified expectations with a professional maiden victory under Antony Raj S. for trainer Darius R. Byramji.
Always travelling comfortably, EMINENT GOLD settled beautifully before quickening decisively in the home straight. Antony Raj S. timed the challenge to perfection, allowing the youngster to lengthen stride inside the closing stages and register an impressive first career success.
TEAK, ridden by Vivek G. for trainer James McKeown, finished second after keeping the winner in sight for much of the journey, while PERSONAL LEGEND, partnered by A. Ashhad Asbar for trainer V. Lokanath, completed the top three with a respectable late effort. Official timings for the placed runners were not available at the time of publication.
With the maiden contest completed, the meeting progressed to The Amazing Grace Plate Div I, scheduled for 3:00 PM, as the Bangalore Summer Meeting continued towards its feature races later in the afternoon.
