The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) brought the curtain down on the 24th day of the Bangalore Summer Meeting on Sunday, 19th July 2026, with two competitive Class IV sprint contests over 1200 metres. The 8th race, The Flirting Vision Plate DIV II, at 4:30 PM and the 9th race, The Flirting Vision Plate DIV I, at 5:00 PM produced two deserving winners as DONCASTER BELLE and VIBRANT QUEEN signed off the afternoon in style. Adding another memorable chapter to the Bangalore race result 19th July, both races showcased strong finishes, tactical rides and closely fought placings.

The afternoon’s penultimate race, The Flirting Vision Plate DIV II, featured Class IV horses rated 20 to 45 over 1200 metres. DONCASTER BELLE, ridden with confidence by Antony Raj S., delivered a polished performance to score for trainer Darius R. Byramji, stopping the clock in 1:15.20. Racing in the colours of Mr S. R. Sanas, Manjri Horse Breeders’ Farm Pvt. Ltd., Mr Aditya P. Thackersey, Mr Ashok Ranpise and Ms DT Racing & Breeding LLP, the winner travelled comfortably before producing a sustained finishing run inside the final furlong to secure victory.
The contest remained competitive throughout, with the field tightly grouped before the pace lifted approaching the home turn. Antony Raj S. timed his challenge to perfection, asking DONCASTER BELLE to quicken at the right moment. The mare responded willingly, pulling clear in the closing stages to register an impressive success.
ROCKING STAR, partnered by A.R. Pradeep for trainer Pradeep Annaiah, chased the winner all the way and finished second in 1:15.39, while PREVIEW, ridden by Suraj Narredu for trainer James McKeown, stayed on well to claim third in 1:15.98. The narrow margins between the leading trio reflected the quality of the sprint and ensured an exciting finish for racegoers.
Attention then shifted to the 9th and final race, The Flirting Vision Plate DIV I, another Class IV contest for horses rated 20 to 45 over 1200 metres, run at 5:00 PM. VIBRANT QUEEN produced an authoritative display under Anish Anamo Hangal to hand trainer Pradeep Annaiah a well-earned victory. Carrying the colours of Mr V. Shankar, the mare travelled fluently throughout before asserting her superiority in the home straight to complete the day’s racing on a winning note.
Settled in a favourable position during the early stages, VIBRANT QUEEN travelled strongly behind the leaders before Anish Anamo Hangal angled the mare into the clear entering the straight. Once asked for her effort, she responded immediately, quickening decisively to draw away from her rivals and cap a polished performance in the meeting finale.
CARAT LOVE, partnered by Neeraj Rawal for trainer Vishesh M.P., completed the placings in second after making steady late progress . DEEP RESPECT, ridden by Suraj Narredu for trainer S. Narredu, stayed on determinedly to finish third .
The two sprint divisions provided an entertaining conclusion to the 24th day of the Bangalore Summer Meeting, with Darius R. Byramji and Pradeep Annaiah sharing training honours in the closing races, while Antony Raj S. and Anish Anamo Hangal produced composed winning rides.
