Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) witnessed an impressive opening to the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 23rd Day on Saturday, 18th July 2026, as SHRISHTI secured victory in the 1st race, The Doncaster Plate, a Maiden contest for horses aged 3 years old only, run over 1600 metres at 02:00 PM. Trained by S. Narredu and ridden confidently by Suraj Narredu, SHRISHTI clocked 1:36.91 to register a memorable maiden success for owners Mr M Ravi, Mrs R Chellam, Equest (India) Pvt Ltd and Bachhawat Farms Pvt Ltd.
The Bangalore race result 18th July opened with a determined performance from SHRISHTI, who settled well before producing a strong finishing effort when the race began to take shape in the final stages. Suraj Narredu timed the move perfectly, allowing the three-year-old to build momentum in the straight and pull away from the chasing pack to secure the win with authority.
APRAMEYA finished runner-up under Neeraj Rawal for trainer Neelesh N Rawal, completing the race in 1:37.40 after staying in contention throughout. TIPPED OFF, guided by Vivek G. and trained by James Mckeown, finished third with a time of 1:37.49, narrowly behind the second-placed runner in a close finish.
With the opening race concluded at Bangalore Turf Club (BTC), attention now moves towards the next contest of the afternoon, The Bold Gesture Plate DIV II, scheduled for 02:30 PM, as the Bangalore Summer Meeting continues with more exciting races ahead.
