The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) postponed the remaining races during the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 23rd day, Saturday, 18th July 2026 after persistent heavy rain and poor visibility made conditions unsafe for racing. Acting in the interest of safety, the Stewards of Bangalore Turf Club Limited announced that the day’s 5th and 6th races are rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
As part of the Bangalore race result 18th July coverage, the meeting concluded prematurely after the earlier races, with the remaining contests rescheduled because weather conditions were deemed not conducive for racing. The decision came following continuous rainfall that significantly reduced visibility across the racecourse, preventing the safe conduct of the remaining programme.
According to the official notice issued by BTC, the postponed races will now be held on Sunday, 19th July 2026, with the revised timings Race 5 – 1:00 PM and Race 6 – 1:30 PM
The Bangalore Turf Club also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to owners, trainers, jockeys, racing professionals, and racegoers, emphasizing that the decision was taken with the safety of horses and participants as the foremost priority.
