The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) witnessed another exciting contest during the Bangalore Summer Meeting on Saturday, 16 May 2026, as Supreme Success stormed to victory in Race No. 2, The Ich Dien Plate, a Class V event for horses rated 00 to 25 over 1400 metres at 03:30 PM. Representing owner Mr K N Ramaraju, Supreme Success delivered a polished performance under jockey Suraj Narredu for trainer S. Narredu, clocking an impressive winning time of 1:27.45. The latest Bangalore race result 16 May added further excitement to an entertaining afternoon of racing at the Bengaluru venue.
Breaking smartly and settling comfortably through the early stages, Supreme Success travelled with confidence before producing a decisive burst in the final furlong. Suraj Narredu timed his challenge to perfection, guiding the gelding smoothly into contention approaching the home straight before asserting authority in the closing stages. The winner displayed both balance and stamina to pull clear when the pressure intensified.
Royal Jewel finished second with a determined effort under Akshay Kumar for trainer Prasanna Kumar, stopping the clock at 1:72.80 after staying on gamely in pursuit of the winner. Vafadar, ridden by Aditya Waydande and trained by Md Sajid Qureshi, secured third place in 1:27.91 after making late progress through the concluding stages.
With The Ich Dien Plate concluded, attention quickly shifted to the upcoming The Quasar Plate DIV I scheduled for 04:00 PM, where another competitive field prepared to battle for honours.
