Racing under the banner of Bangalore Turf Club, AGRIMA was positioned smartly throughout the 1400-metre trip and delivered when it mattered most, showing strong finishing resolve in the final stretch. Settling into a comfortable rhythm early, the winner was kept within striking distance before being asked to quicken at the business end, responding with authority to draw clear of the field.
The tactical ride from Laxman Singh ensured AGRIMA conserved energy before launching a well-timed challenge, a move that ultimately proved decisive in a steadily run contest where positioning played a key role in the outcome.
PALMA, ridden by Arul J H and trained by Darius R. Byramji, ran on steadily but had to settle for second place, finishing in 1:32.03 after being unable to match the winner’s late acceleration. ICE QUEEN, under B.L. Paswan for trainer Azhar Ali, completed the frame in 1:32.50, staying on well in the final stages to secure third.
