The 8th race of the day at Bangalore Turf Club (BTC), on its 22nd Day, Sunday, 12th July 2026, was The Indian Pattern Committee Trophy Div II. Run over 1200 metres for Class IV horses rated 20 to 45 at 4:45 PM, the contest saw LASYA produce a polished performance under Bhawani Singh to score for trainer Aravind G. and owner Mr Kapil Dev M, stopping the clock in 1:12.48. The Bangalore race result 12th July once again highlighted the depth of competition on the card, with another closely fought finish in the sprint division.
Settled comfortably through the early stages, LASYA travelled with confidence before Bhawani Singh asked for a decisive effort approaching the final furlong. Responding willingly, the mare quickened smartly to establish a winning advantage and held it to the line, rewarding the patient tactics of her rider while giving trainer Aravind G. another notable success during the meeting.
AGRADOR chased the winner home with a determined effort to finish second in 1:12.77 under Neeraj Rawal for trainer Darius R. Byramji. SUPREME SUCCESS also stayed on gamely to secure third in 1:12.82, with Vishwa V. in the saddle for trainer S. Narredu, ensuring the leading trio crossed the finish in quick succession after a tightly contested sprint.
With the sprint division complete, attention remained firmly on the remaining attractions of the Bangalore Summer Meeting as the day’s feature contests continued to unfold.
