The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) hosted another exciting contest during the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 21st Day, Saturday, 11th July 2026, as Race No. 4 – The Mysore Cup over 1400 metres was decided in a thrilling finish at 03:00 PM. In another memorable Bangalore race result 11th July, LOTS OF LUCK produced a determined performance under A. Ashhad Asbar to score for trainer V. Lokanath, clocking 1:25.41. Racing in the colours of Mr Dinesh Kumar K, the winner displayed grit and consistency to edge out quality opposition in the closing strides.
The race developed into a closely fought contest from the outset, with the leading runners maintaining a strong gallop throughout the journey. Settled comfortably before the home bend, LOTS OF LUCK responded impressively when asked for an effort by A. Ashhad Asbar. The gelding found another gear inside the final furlong, holding his momentum under pressure to secure victory by the narrowest of margins in a race that kept spectators engaged until the finish.
SOLARA, partnered by Akshay Kumar and trained by S.S. Attaollahi, finished a gallant second after stopping the clock at 1:25.49, missing out by only fractions. RAVISHING QUEEN, ridden by Suraj Narredu for trainer James Mckeown, stayed on well to claim third in 1:25.82, completing a competitive finish among the leading trio.
With The Mysore Cup concluded, attention now shifts to Race No. 5 – The Kapila Plate DIV I, scheduled for 03:30 PM, as the Bangalore Summer Meeting continues to build towards the remainder of the day’s feature contests.
