Race 8 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 21st day, Saturday, 11th July 2026, saw an exciting finish in The Goa Plate Div I over 1400 metres, held at 05:00 PM at Bangalore Turf Club (BTC). In another notable Bangalore race result 11th July, CORINTHIAN delivered a polished performance under A. Sandesh to score for trainer S.S. Attaollahi. Owned by Mr C. Aryama Sundaram, the winner stopped the clock at 1:25.09, producing a determined effort to land the contest in impressive fashion.
Settled comfortably through the early stages, CORINTHIAN travelled fluently before quickening smartly when asked for an effort in the home straight. A. Sandesh judged the pace to perfection, timing his challenge with precision as the gelding responded strongly in the closing furlong to edge clear and secure a well-deserved victory. Trainer S.S. Attaollahi’s charge showed both balance and determination to hold off the late challengers.
MISTER BROWN ran an excellent race to finish second in 1:25.22 under Arvind Kumar N. for trainer Pradeep Annaiah, staying on gamely but falling just short of the winner. STORM SHADOW, partnered by Neeraj Rawal and trained by Prasanna Kumar, completed the placings in 1:25.42, finishing strongly to ensure a closely fought finish among the leading trio.
With another competitive contest concluded at Bangalore, attention now turns to the remaining races on the card as the day’s feature events continue to showcase quality racing at BTC.
