Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) will host an action-packed seven-race programme on Saturday, 25 July, with the first race scheduled for 2:00 PM and the final contest at 5:00 PM. The card will feature races for Class IV, Class V and maiden performers, while the afternoon’s centrepiece will be the S.M. Cama Music and Production Pvt Ltd Bangalore City Sprint Championship Gold Cup. A competitive mix of experienced campaigners, progressive handicappers and promising three-year-olds will ensure a varied day of racing at the Bengaluru venue.
Bangalore Race Cards 25 July
The meeting will begin with Race 1 – THE BRAVE DANCER PLATE, a Class V contest for horses rated 00 to 25, which will be run over 1800 metres at 2:00 PM for a total prize of ₹4,50,000. The opening field will comprise Agape, Art Of Romance, Big Sauce, Magna Carta, Blue Saint, Bruce Almighty, Rising Form and Shock And Awe, with the staying trip expected to provide an early test of stamina.
The action will continue with Race 2 – THE CAMINETO PLATE DIV II, a Class IV event for horses rated 20 to 45, scheduled over 1200 metres at 2:30 PM with prize money of ₹5,10,000. The declared runners will include Breeze Bluster, Honeypot, Rocking Star, Augusto, Black Rainforest, Blind Faith, Portieux, Annabelle, Windcleaver and Character, producing a competitive sprint line-up.
The third contest will feature Race 3 – THE RED DIVINE PLATE, a Maiden race for three-year-old horses only, over 1100 metres at 3:00 PM with a purse of ₹11,00,000. The field will consist of Born To Rise, Burevestnik, Legacy Field, Royal Vanguard, Abbakka, Bellucci, Emergent, Energetic Girl, Garzian and Shadai, with several lightly raced contenders seeking a breakthrough performance.
The programme will then move to Race 4 – THE CAMINETO PLATE DIV I, another Class IV contest for horses rated 20 to 45, to be run over 1200 metres at 3:30 PM for ₹5,10,000. The expected runners will be Hushed, Lauterbrunnen, Supreme Success, Il Volo, Zayana, Agera, Rosaline, Solo Prince, Elveden and Aatherv, adding further depth to the afternoon’s sprint races.
The feature event will arrive in Race 5 – THE S.M. CAMA MUSIC AND PRODUCTION PVT LTD BANGALORE CITY SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIP GOLD CUP. Open to horses aged three years and over, the prestigious 1200-metre contest will be staged at 4:00 PM with total prize money of ₹14,50,000. The championship field will feature Aldgate, Czar, Dream Seller, Kalamitsi, Rieko and Excellent Lass, making it the standout attraction of the meeting.
Attention will then shift to Race 6 – THE HONEY DAY PLATE, a Class IV race for horses rated 20 to 45, over 1400 metres at 4:30 PM for ₹5,10,000. The line-up will include Versace, Ebotse, Feeling Good, Star Honour, Bezawada Baasha, Chotipari, Mericle Beauty, Amazing Storm, Sunlit Path and Side Please, with a well-balanced field expected to contest the honours.
The programme will conclude with Race 7 – THE XISCA PLATE, another Class IV contest for horses rated 20 to 45, to be run over 1500 metres at 5:00 PM for a total purse of ₹5,10,000. The closing field will comprise Imperador, Agrima, Yarra Yarra, Shutterfly, Frederika, Sassy, Shahenshaah, Michiko, Approval, Big B, Haniel and Star Symphony, bringing the Saturday fixture to its conclusion.
The seven-race programme will combine endurance contests, competitive handicaps, an attractive maiden event and a valuable sprint championship. The Bangalore City Sprint Championship Gold Cup will provide the highlight of the afternoon, while the remaining races will offer opportunities for emerging and established performers to showcase their form across a variety of distances.
