Ridden by Suraj Narredu and trained by Rajesh Narredu, the duo continued their winning momentum this season as Asagiri clocked 1:38.159 to claim the Rs. 2,75,000 winner’s prize at 13/2 odds.
Finishing in second place was the tote favorite, Booster Shot, guided by P. Trevor under the training of Patrick Quinn. The pair, who had already won earlier in the day in The Aayush Handicap, put up a strong challenge but settled for second with a time of 1:38.649 at 10/10 odds.
The top three was rounded off by No Worry, ridden by Imran Chisty and trained by Rutherford Alford. The gelding fought hard to the wire but finished just short in 1:38.664, returning at 10/1 odds.
