Amazing Stride lived up to his name with a nerve-wracking, last-gasp victory in The Baraloy Plate Div II, run over 1400 meters on July 31, 2025, at Bangalore Turf Club (BTC). This Class IV handicap for horses rated 20 to 45 came down to a heart-stopping finish, with the winner taking home ₹2,54,995 in prize money by the slimmest of margins.
Representing the ownership team of Mr. P. J. Vazifdar, Mrs. P. J. Vazifdar, Mr. M. Rishad, Mr. Kersi H. Vachha, and Mr. S. R. Sanas, Amazing Stride was locked in a fierce battle over the final meters. He held on just in time to clock 1:26.94, clinching a dramatic victory for a trainer S. Padmanabhan.

The challenge came late and strong from Knotty Affair, who was given a brilliant ride by Vivek G. for trainer Azhar Ali. The pair nearly pulled off the upset but were denied by a short head, finishing in 1:26.96 in what was undoubtedly one of the closest races of the day.
Carter, guided by V. R. Jagadeesh and trained by Md Sajid Qu’shi, also made a strong showing, finishing third in 1:27.02, just a long neck behind the runner-up in a tightly packed finish.
