The 14th day of the Mysore (Monsoon) Races 2025 kicked off in thrilling fashion with Race 1, The Hasthinapura Plate, a Class V contest for horses rated 00 to 25 over 1400M on Saturday, 25 October 2025 at 1:30 PM. Alluring Beauty, owned by Mrs. Namrataa Rakesh, ridden by P. Ajeeth Kumar and trained by Rakesh, delivered a commanding performance, crossing the finish line in 1:27.096 to secure a decisive victory.
From the start, Alluring Beauty settled well behind the early pace setters, conserving energy before unleashing a strong turn of foot in the final 400M. Displaying composure and tactical awareness, the filly surged past the leaders in the home stretch, asserting dominance and leaving little doubt about her superiority in this maiden field.
D Admiral, guided by Hindu Singh for trainer K. Aditya, finished a close second in 1:27.476 after challenging the winner mid-stretch, while Break Away (J: Faiz, T: J. Ganesh) closed smartly to claim third in 1:27.878. The top three were separated by fine margins, making for an exciting start to the day’s racing.
Attention now shifts to the eagerly awaited Sri C. Sashachalam Memorial Trophy at 2:00 PM, which promises to test stamina and strategy as the action continues at Mysore Racecourse.
