The day’s proceedings get underway at 12:30 PM with the Thoroughbred Maiden Plate (Class 6), where young hopefuls will make their first appearance over 1200 meters for Qr 45,000. At 1:05 PM, the Local Thoroughbred Maiden Plate (Class 6) will feature emerging three-year-olds eager to make an impression on the Doha turf.
By 1:40 PM, attention shifts to the Thoroughbred Handicap 0–70 (Class 5), open only to Qatari riders. This sharp 1200-meter sprint, worth Qr 50,000, will test timing and nerve in equal measure. The momentum continues at 2:15 PM with the Thoroughbred Handicap 50–70 (Class 5) over 2000 meters, a true test of patience, judgment, and staying power.
